Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) 18 May 2016

The Shaw Trust Accessibility Team isGAAD proud to be taking part in this year's Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) on 19th May.

Shaw Trust Accessibility Services helps organisations to provide fully accessible buildings, inclusive working environments and utilise digital technology in a way that everyone can use and understand. Each of us plays a role in achieving this goal.

GAAD is a community-driven effort whose goal is to dedicate one day to raising the profile of and introducing the topic of digital (web, software, mobile app/device etc.) accessibility and inclusion for people with different disabilities.

The Accessibility Service will be supporting GAAD by offering a free webinar on developing accessible PDF documents in line with WCAG 2.0 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)

  • Testing for Accessibility
